[Ultimate Chess]

Stalemate! WTF?

I had a queen, two bishops, and a knight and all hes as is a couple of pawns! How the hell is that a stalemate?!?!?!

Stalemate can seem unfair sometimes, but it is one of the founding rules in chess. It doesn't matter how many pieces you have - you can have 6 queens on the board and still draw the game! Click on "chess rules" in the main menu and find the page that explains "Stalemate", read carefully and it will make sense.

Honestly-a pointless game

If I wanted to do some Rebus puzzles I would have just searched for them on google: to spend the time and effort into making a flash game for such a simple action is entirely necessary. Also, searching for puzzles elsewhere will yield much more numerous and challenging puzzles; as stated in some reviews, this game contains puzzles of uneven quality (some are clever and some are either ambiguous in the true solution).

Seriously, how do you start this game?

I've clicked all over the screen and the game is still at the title screen displaying the first, awkwardly worded message...I truly do hate this game

Executed perfectly.

This game is comepletely perfect for what you were trying to do. My only complaint is that I found the music a little annoying, but that is just my preference. It really reminds me of the ice gyms from the Pokemon gameboy games.

I think, however, that your great taste in music stands out more than the game itself. A few levels in, I kind of wanted to stop, but the good music kept me playing.

Great presentation...

...but I absolute HATE the entire idea of isometric games that consider cardinal moves (left, right, up, down) as angular eqivelants, at least in perspective to the player. I understand that this game wouldn't work if it was not made to be isometric in this way, but it doesn't change the fact that it is what it is.

Great style and presentation

This reminds me of Mirrors Edge. Every about this game is great, especially the style, concept, and art, but with the exception of at times unresponsive controls. In a game where one mistake can make you win or lose, you should be able to jump at the instant you want to - with no delay.

The nicest thing about this game is obviously the art direction.

My only complaint is that I wish the trumpet solo could have been longer than just 4 measures. Though they were in fact a very tasteful 4 measures...

Good game

The art could have been better though, and just so you know, in order to have a current, you need a complete circuit between positive and negative terminals...just throwing it out there in case you want to make a more realistic sequel or something
